We rode back towards home but Ethan didn't want to stop, so we kept riding all the way through Northampton to the bridge over the Connecticut River. The whole bike trail used to be a railroad track, so there is this cool bridge spanning the river for bikers and joggers. The whole trail is mostly wooded, so it is very pretty, especially now that all the leaves are changing colors. After going over the bridge, we decided to head back home, since it would take another half hour. I am so proud of Ethan! He barely had to stop and rest, and kept up pretty well, even going up hill!
We snapped a few pics and videos of our adventure with our phones, so here they are:
Just hangin' out on the trail with Ethan.

Along the trail, someone built this little resting place with signs in different languages that say: "Please seat yourself". There is also a "public phone" mounted to a tree with a little donation box underneath it. So we had to get a pic.

Dustin and Owen on the bridge.

Ethan kept saying that he was riding faster than Speed Racer...so here is a super speedy pic of him.

I almost fell off my bike and almost dropped my camera during this video!

What a fun ride!! We used to ride 7 miles each way on a trail like that to a giant park...one of the things I miss in MN. :) Glad you didn't crash your bike... hehe
Oh to live in New England during the Fall...
