We Got the Call...

Early Friday morning, Dustin's phone rang. It was the call we had been waiting for since he got home from his interview Wednesday. I'm so glad they didn't make us wait for very long. YES! A job offer. It didn't surprise me a bit, because Dustin is, of course, amazing and talented. The head of the program told Dustin that they were impressed by his knowledge and leadership skills in the short time they were able to observe him. Wow...nothing compares to the feeling of having a job to go to when you graduate from college. Dustin may still interview with a few local companies, but the G.O.L.D. program with Avery-Dennison just seems like such a great opportunity for our family. We still don't know where the first assignment will be. I am told that we will be given a couple different options when they mail the official offer. So, for the time being, we are proceeding as if we are taking the job. I've already started packing all the things we don't really need or use currently and putting them in a storage unit. And we're working on getting our yard and house ready for selling in the next couple of months. So much to do! Oh, and not to mention, Dustin still has to finish school...only a minor detail, right?
