The kids begged Dustin to make my kiln box into a house. I suppose it will take up half of the living room for the next month, until I put my foot down and send it to the recycle bin.
when we moved to NE, bren turned a wardrobe box into a "shop", where he ate, played, slept, until i finally have enough of it. but, boy, did they have fun with that box until then, and i bet your boys do, too.
That is the cutest thing. That is what we need to get our kids for Christmas. I was trying to think of a low budget item they would love. This is just the thing and I will include a note that says, Merry Christmas, kids, we just paid down the visa, hope you like your free box! Well, maybe minus the note.
Enjoy their simple ideas of a fun time while it lasts. A cardboard box is cheap fun. Remember the tunnel your brothers made out of boxes and then they put Trudy and Bunky in it? And then Trudy clawed her way out of that little hole to get away from Bunky? Oh, the memories. Mom
Way back in MN, when my parents got a big freezer to go in tha garage, my mom kept the box (HUGE) and cut doors and windows and let us color id. We drew curtains, wall art, etc etc. Hours of fun! :)
